Our Little Hayley
December 30, 1985 ~ March 31, 1987
Hayley was diagnosed as having Cardiofacial Syndrome.
She was a beautiful, bright child. She stole the hearts of all who knew her, and even
those who did not. She had a very strong spirit.
One day about a year after her death, I had decided to keep children in my home. A
grandmother that called to inquire about my add, had a grandson with a heart
defect. She was looking for someone to keep him that could handle his special
needs. I told her about my little Hayley. I explained because of her, I felt that I could
definitely provide her grandson with a safe a loving place.
She asked me when Hayley had died, and what funeral home she was at. I told her.
She then went on to tell me that at the time Hayley was at the funeral home, she had
an uncle that had passed away. She told me that when she went to visit him, she
happened to walk past a room where she saw beautiful little girl. She said she was
so moved by the her sweetness, that she went in to see her. She described my little
Hayley with her big white bear.
